The Honor Magic 7 and 7 Pro are set to launch on October 23, 2024. Both models will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8-series processor, expected to be either called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite. Ahead of the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared details about both the base and Pro models.

According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the Magic 7 series will come in four colors: Gray, White, Blue, and Black, with a Gold option exclusive to the standard Magic 7. Storage configurations for the Magic 7 include 512GB and 1TB, while the Pro variant adds a 256GB option alongside those choices.

Key features include improved 3D Face Unlock and ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. The series will also feature Honor’s upgraded periscope zoom cameras for superior photography. Previous reports have claimed that the Honor Magic 7 series will switch to an OV50H sensor from Chinese manufacturer OmniVision, a sensor that is also used in the Huawei Pura 70 and Xiaomi 14. It will be acompanied by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (Sony IMX882), and a third sensor (likely ultrawide).
The Pro model is also said to get improved fast charging in both wired and wireless departments. It is expected to feature an alleged 5,620mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, a decent improvement over the 80W wired charging, 66W wireless charging of the Honor Magic 6 Pro.
